We had a wonderful family stay here! The kids loved the seasonal pool, and we enjoyed hiking the extensive trails. The rooms were clean and comfortable, making it easy for our grown children to relax after long days of exploring the outdoors.
My wife says that having more amenities, like a small bar or breakfast, would make it better for families.

Stunning Location with Good Vibes
The location is absolutely stunning, nestled in a wooded area with breathtaking views from the common area's balcony. The rustic decor adds a homey touch which we loved. However, the common area amenities could use clearer communication. it took us a while to figure out the shared fridge and kitchenette situation.

Oh boy, the grub at the Hikers Cafe was a delightful surprise! From mouthwatering sandwiches to scrumptious snacks, we were left wanting more. The cozy stone cottages had a rustic charm and were nestled in nature’s beauty, perfect for unwinding after hikes. Plus, the fireplace in our sitting area added a touch of romance!
While the location was prime, the room decor felt like stepping back into a modest motel, and we totally missed the cool stone cottage vibe we were hoping for. A fan in the bathroom would have gone a long way in keeping the air moving.

missingWrote a review on Jul 18kids' play areaseasonal poolstaff oversight
We enjoyed the kids' play area with a bounce house and the seasonal pool. The lodge was perfect for our group, allowing us to bond after hiking nearby trails. Just a heads up, there’s no elevator if you’re on the second floor and it can be a bit tricky with heavy luggage.
One downside was the lack of staff oversight. It felt a bit chaotic with kids running in the halls.

Family with children should think this place over
Had a wonderful time with my family during our stay. The grounds are beautiful, and we really enjoyed exploring them with the kids. The café was a huge plus, serving up great breakfast items that kept us fueled for the day. Also, the staff here was friendly and helpful, always making us feel welcome.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but honestly, it was acceptable for the experience we got.

The room was pretty comfy with a nice rustic feel. The view was lovely, and I enjoyed the quiet. The setup felt cozy, but the walls were paper thin. That could get annoying if you have noisy neighbors. Wi-Fi was reliable though, which is always a plus.
